Well the announcement that the upcoming tour will be the last one Paul Simon will do, made the press worldwide of course.
On the left from The Netherlands, in which it is said that it is becoming a trend to announce that you are stopping touring, although the reason’s may differ:
- Neil Diamond had to stop because he was diagnosed with Parkinson
- Elton John will stop, after a tour of 300 shows
