The recording career of Paul Simon really started in 1957 when he and Art Garfunkel were under contract of Big Records, led by Sid Prosen.
Most of the songs were released on 7-inch format. But the first one also on 10-ich / 78rpms. And not only did Paul and Art record for Big Record, also Paul Simon’s father, Louis Simon, under the name of Lee Simms did. Right now we are not sure if Paul Simon contributed to his father’s recordings.
