I just posted my reply…somewhere…
I saw Simon and Garfunkel in early May 1966 appear at The Beachcomber near Geneva, Ohio. I was a freshman college student at Kent State, Ashtabula branch and heard of them stopping there for a quick show. When I walked into the Beachcomber I found one stool open at the bar, sat down and ordered a beer. When the bartender brought my beer I asked him when this group Simon amd Garfunkel would show up. The bartender said, “they are sitting right next to you”. I looked to my right and Paul Simon was looking back at me. Next to him was Art Garfunkel. They both tipped their drinks at me and we talked briefly. I believe I recall them saying their next gig was in Akron. I said my brother attends the University of Akron. They finished their drinks and went up and played The Sound of Silence and a couple of other songs. That was a very memorable night.
That must have been indeed a memorable night. So when they played Akron the next night, this Beachcomber concert have been May 5th 1966.

Hi! Not to be too picky, but it is spelled Norrköping, not Norrkopping ;). And the video was filmed at the railway station in Mariefred, if I am not mistaken. But I have no idea about what program/TV-show they appeared on the 1st of July. And if some other article about their gigs in Sweden turns up, I can of cause try to translate them when I have the time.
I can CONFIRM. Simon and Garfunkel played at Brockport State University at HPE Gym on Sunday night 8:00 pm on May 15, 1966. I have ticket stub. It cost $1.50 per person. I recall total attendance was ~ 100 students.
